It is estimated that approximately 1370 children go blind everyday.

The World Health Organization estimates that there are over 3.5 million children with severe eye disorders worldwide that cause blindness. Many of them suffer from a hereditary eye disease. Researchers are working on a cure for the diseases but because of a lack of revenues the progress is slow. We need to find a cure for all childhood blindness diseases.

One of the causes is a disease called Choroideremia and researchers are close to finding a cure. Researchers claim that finding a cure for this disease will lead to finding a cure for other hereditary childhood blindness disease.

There are over 3,500,000 blind children in the world and a large majority of them will live a very short life. Our foundation is dedicated to finding cures for diseases that causes blindness.

Save The Children’s Eyesight Charity goal is to ensure that no child born today will needlessly lose their sight due to lack of research.

Save The Children’s Eyesight Charity is made up of all volunteers and is funded entirely by private support. It receives no financial support from federal, state, local governments or United Way. 100 % of all donations and funds raised by the charity go directly to the Choroideremia Research Foundation Inc. for research.
