Cataract and cornea diseases are the world's leading causes of blindness. Around 18 million people become blind each year worldwide as a result. Treatment is hardly accesible in developing countries where blindness is related to poverty and poor education. Treatment provided in time helps to avoid blindness. Donations of the fund will support the treatment of people living in remote areas of Northern India.
